Cam Locks

A cam lock is a type of lock that uses the actuator as the bolt mechanism. Cam locks are popular in many areas, notably vending machines and file cabinets. Though they are generally considered low-security, some manufacturers offer more advanced cam locks, such as Medeco and Abloy.
