EVVA (Erfindungs-Versuchs-Verwertungs-Anstalt) (Invention, Experimentation and Application Institute) is an Austrian lock manufacturer that produces medium and high security lock cylinders, electronic locks, and alarm systems. They are best known for their high security 3KS and MCS mechanical locking systems.
History
EVVA was founded in 1919.[1] It wasn't until 1937 that they received their first lock patent. In 1973, Nikolaus Bujas took over the company and invested in machinery. Bujas also established an in-house research and development department in 1974.
