WEST is a Japanese lock manufacturer that produces high security lock cylinders, electronic locks, as well as door hardware.
History
WEST was founded in 1933 by Asajiro Nishi (Mr.) as “Nishi Seisakusho”(Nishi's factory). The company began with the manufacturing of lock sets and iron hardware mainly for boats and vessels. After World War Ⅱ, their product range expanded to include residential and commercial door hardware. WEST is headquartered in Osaka, Japan and has offices in Tokyo, Japan.
