MIWA (美和ロック株式会社) is a Japanese lock manufacturer that produces medium and high security padlocks, electronic locks, and lock cylinders. MIWA is the larget Japanese manufacturer of mechanical and electronic locks. They are best known for their various magnetic and hybrid high security lock designs.
History
Miwa can trace its roots to a munitions factory (Miwa Kogyo) founded by its created, Wake Ichiro, in 1935. They incorporated in 1945.
